On June 7 2006, late afternoon, Riverdale gave birth to a powerhouse of a filly. Because she is so tiny!!!!! and was born on Tim Horton's camp day, we call her Timbit.
She is by the well known stallion Oxford who carries the very best of European bloodlines including Burggraaf, Voltaire, Landgraf, Cordelabryere and Gotthard. Oxford has been shown successfully in the jumper ring, but is best know for his successes in the hunter ring. He is a proven producer of conformation horses, performance horses and a consistent producer of fantastic temperament.
Her dam is premium mare Riverdale who produced the successful line horse Fiona Miranda who was the 2005 Foal futurity winner and earned high placings at the 2008 Royal including a 6th in the GG cup and 4th in the Grand Champion class. Fiona is Timbit's full sister. Timbit's dam Riverdale also produced the 2009 Reserve Junior Champion foal at the Hogendoorn warmblood show Seraphino.
Riverdale, Timbit's dam is by Kadans who was had a successful dressage career at the GP level under Tom Dvorak. He has and produces tremendously powerful and elastic gaits, and carries strong jumping and dressage bloodlines including Ramiro, Amor, Ulft, and Doruto.
Rivella has fantastic bloodlines, very powerful elastic gaits and a super scopey jump with good technique. Her disposition is superb.
Rivella has a very solid dressage start is in training with Meredith Risk and is leased out for the summer. She is for sale can be tried out but will not be available until September. The following is a short video.
