On June 7 2006, late afternoon, Riverdale gave birth to a big powerhouse of a filly. Because she is so tiny!!!!! and was born on Tim Horton's camp day, we call her Timbit.
She is by the well known stallion Oxford who carries the very best of European bloodlines including Burggraaf, Voltaire, Landgraf, Cordelabryere and Gotthard. Oxford has proven himself in the jumper ring, and is currently showing his versatility with a very successful season in the hunter ring.
Her dam is premium mare who produced the successfull conformation horse Fiona Miranda who is a full sibling to Timbit. Timbit's dam is by Kadans who was had a successful dressage career at the GP level under Tom Dvorak. He has and produces tremendously powerful and elastic gaits, and carries strong jumping and dressage bloodlines including Ramiro, Amor, Ulft, and Doruto.
Timbit's pedigree and conformation show potential for multiple diciplines and her disposition suits and amateur rider. Time will tell where she will best excel. She's a big solid filly that will definitely suit a large rider.
