Royal Winter Fair, Toronto Nov 12- Oxford's Ice places 8th in the Lieutenant Governor's Cup. Ice was ridden by Julie Tremblay. Restique placed 10th in the Governor Generals's Cup Restique was shown by Sophie Balogh-Delisle. Both Ice and Restique (aka Angelina) are home for a well deserved break.
Oct 8, 2011 CWHBA inspection, Foal Futurity and Fieldstone Breeders show.
Frestique by Freestyle out of Unique by Gribaldi wins the foal futurity with a super score of 34 or 8.5. Frestique's older sister Restique by Redwine out of Unique by Gribaldi was champion of the mare inspection with a fabulous score of 8.66. Later that day she won the Hunter Suitability under saddle at the Fieldstone show. Together with placings in other classes we for the second year in a row managed to win the CWHBA high point breeder trophy at the Fieldstone Show.

Oxford's Ice wins the Lieutenant Governor's cup qualifier, and Restique places 7th for the Governor General's and 9th for the Lieutenant Governor's cup qualifier giving both of them enough points to qualify for the Royal. We're Royal bound..can't wait.

We are thrilled to announce that the beautiful and very accomplished Riviera has been added to our broodmare band. Riviera has a very successful show career behind her and is impeccably bred. She is a 13 year old Dutch mare by Riverman, out of Danser by Nimmerdor.

It's great to get updates from all the horses at the shows. Act Casual is very successful his first year showing in the 2' 6"Trillium and Rivella has made her show ring debut in dressage at RCRA and Palgrave with scores as high as 67. Fitzwilliam is once again doing very well in the Adult Amateur 18-35, and 2 of our 3 year olds crop, Oxford's Ice and Restique are being prepared for the cup qualifiers.

Unique had a gorgeous bay filly by Freestyle. This filly has an absolutely WORLD CLASS pedigree. With Freestyle as a sire, and out of a half sibling to the dressage superstar Totilas it doesn't get much better then this.

Allie had a beautiful baby boy. This is a full brother to the 3 year old Iceman. He's big and leggy just like Ice was at this age, and has 4 beautiful socks and a blaze.

Fitzwilliam is the recipient of the 2010 CWHBA Ontario Top Hunter
Award. Fitzwiliam was bred by Jackie VandenBrink and was sold to
Albro Creek Farm as a 4 year old. He had a very successful season

Agricultural Winter Fair
Providence was bred by VandenBrink Warmbloods. He is by Private Project xx out of the mare Princess Allie and was born at our farm in 1999. His owner Dallard Runge has him in training with Leah Wilson who competed him in the dressage quadrille competition as part of team Brookhaven in the very memorable remembrance day themed quadrille. He has competed at the PSG level and is training the GP work.
Fitzwilliam was bred by VandenBrink Warmbloods. He is by Iroko out of the mare Contiki and was born at our farm in 2002. He was sold to Albro Creek Farm and is now in training with Wayne McLellan and competed in the Adult Amateur 18-35 hunter division at the Royal Winter Fair with Melissa Roy with excellent placings including 2 3rds.
A big congratulations and thank you to all the riders, grooms, trainers and owners involved with these horses over the years to help them get this far.

Fieldstone Farm Breeders Show
It was a really great day at the Fieldstone Breeders Show for VandenBrink Warmbloods.
Some of the highlights - Trophy's for High point breeder and High point exhibitor, Champion Mare with Unique, Reserve Junior Champion with Westique, 2nd place in the Progeny of dam class for Allie, 3rd in the foal futurity with Liesje, 4th place with Liesje in the foal class, 5th place for Jerry for the 3 year old class.
I had some help with breeder points from the beautiful Fiona Miranda, a horse I bred and sold to Elizabeth Monaghan as a foal. It was Reserve Champion mare, champion CSH mare, won the hunter suitability, 2nd place in the dressage suitability...and ended up tying for first with an 8 in the mare inspection.

Liesje is a beautiful leggy filly by Landfriesse II a stunning son of Landadel. Landfriesse is a proven producer of numerous approved stallions and successful competition horses in dressage, jumper, eventing and hunter. Riverdale has been a fantastic producer of quality offspring with fantastic conformation and gaits that are just starting to show under saddle. Riverdale's pedigree is very versatile with prominent dutch jumper and dressage lines including El Corona, Amor, Doruto, Ramiro and Ulft. Liesje is a very sweet filly that looks like she'll mature quite tall with a very well developed hindquarter and good gaits. This filly is bred and built to excel in multiple disciplines. We showed this filly in the CWHBA foal futurity and we placed 3rd in the foal futurity and 4th in the foal class at the Fieldstone Breeders show.

Westique is a big elegant colt by the well known stallion Westporte. Westporte is a very successful hunter with fabulous gaits, great looks and a wonderful jump. He is from the very prominent german bloodlines Wolkentanz and Fabriano. Unique is a daughter of the legendary sire Gribaldi out of a fabulous mare by Burggraaf. She has stunning gaits as a well as a fabulous jump. Westique is a very striking colt with tremendous presence, exceptional conformation and very lofty gaits. With his combination of genetics he is destined to excel in the hunter or dressage ring. We showed Westique at the Fieldstone Breeders show and he bacame Reserve Junior Champion.
