Allie's colt (Iceman)
Oxford (Burggraaf/Voltaire) x Allie (Lorbas/Popsaysnoxx)
born May 24th 2008
Boy..this baby's got bling. That's how he got his name Ice...or Iceman. He even has a cool diamond shaped marking just under his front knee.
Iceman is a typical Oxford. Sweet, easy to get along with, self confident...just an absolute doll. He's the first one at the fence when there are visitors. He is our fourth Oxford we've raised at the farm, and we kept going back to him because of foals like Ice. They are good looking, well built, and great movers. We're absolutely thrilled with him. He has a great canter, a lovely trot that's free in the shoulder and quite lofty. His pedigree is versatile and is strong both for jumping and dressage.
His sire is a successful 4 foot hunter, and his dam is full sister to a number of successful 4 foot 6 junior and amateur jumpers. This boy will have plenty of scope, but he absolutely has the mind and movement for the hunter ring. His dam is a proven producer of easy ammy termperament and her first foal has shown PSG level dressage and is now schooling all the Grand Prix work.
