Two of our broodmares and a large number of my young prospects are decendents of the first broodmare I ever owned. Beauty Kate. Beauty Kate foaled a number of successful A circuit jumpers and consistently passed on her kind willing temperment, jumping ability, and broodmare qualities. She was a big black Canadian Sport Horse mare of predominantly TB bloodlines. She was by Popsaysnoxx who was sired by Ambiorix who is the grandsire of Sloopy the 1972 Olympic Jumper Silver Medalist. Sadly she passed away at the age of twenty in 1998 weeks after giving birth to Riverdale.

Allie (Princess Allie) is a 1996 Canadian Sport Horse Mare by Lorbas out of Beauty Kate. She is a full sibling to several successful scopey A circuit jumpers. (Monaco, Loratio and Mirage(photos below). She is by Lorbas, a producer of upper level jumpers and dressage horses and winner of the Brickenden stallion award for the success of his produce. Allie has great gaits, has a very sweet personality, and is a wonderful mom. Her first foal Providence is currently competing at Prix St. George Level dressage. In 2006 she produced a lovely Ikoon (Libero H/Nimmerdor) filly and in 2007 a very typey black colt by Gervantus II, a beautiful black proven jumper sire with the bloodline Grannus/Volkornxx. Remembering Mirage, full sister to Allie
"With a heart of gold and a willing temperament, Mirage (affectionately known as Miss Babs), instilled confidence in many of her riders. Foaled out of Beauty Kate and sired by Lorbas, Mirage became a successful show jumper who advanced riders to many levels. Owned and shown by Pati Geittmann, this brave mare loved to jump. She took her rider from the novice adults with fences as high as 3 feet, to the high amateur adults at a fence height of 4 and a half feet, with spreads as wide as 4 feet. Almost always placing in the high ribbons, this team often became champion or reserve champion at many A or AA rated shows. During leisurely trail rides on an eventing field, Babs enjoyed jumping the training level cross country obstacles without hesitation. Other rides were simply serene carrying Pati without a saddle or bridle....just a halter and lead rope" Pati Geittmann
