Her sire is Ikoon a KWPN approved international show jumper by the Preferent stallion Libero H (by Landgraf) out of a mare by the legendary Nimmerdor. Her dam is a full sister to a number of proven jumpers and is sired by Lorbas award winning producer of GP dressage horses and jumpers. Her dam's first foal has competed at PSG level dressage and is currently schooling all the GP work. All of her foals to date have inherited her wonderful temperament and have proven to be great amateur mounts.

Annie is no exception to that. She was started under saddle last summer. She is very willing under saddle, with 3 very balanced gaits an absolutely fantastic canter, beautiful trot and superb disposition. Her very first show was the Royal Winter fair as a 3 year old. We did warmblood demonstrations in the Spirit of the Horse ring. She handled it like a seasoned show horse. She remained completely calm and happily worked in that small ring with all those distractions. She had most of the winter off and then did a similar show, the Can Am Equine Emporium in March. She started very light work over fences in the summer of 2010 and showed in the local hunter schooling shows consistently placing 1st and 2nd in the green hunters over fences as well as consistent high placings in the hunter under saddle. The judges just love her. She participated in an Erynn Ballard clinic who discribed her as "beautiful gaits, beautiful jump, beautiful mare".

Anika has has an incredible mind, is a very quick learner and is very willing to please. She has the scope, movement and looks to be a top horse for a professional and the mind to do it under a junior or amateur rider.

Anika has recently started her dressage training with Meredith Risk. The following is a short video.
